Though real, it seems a fantasy. Nature has its powers spread Beyond the scenes that sunshine read. |

A kitchen shelf holds bottles tall, Filled with oils and secret things, Blessed with luck the fetish brings. Beams above adobe walls Hold ladles, herbs, that they not fall. Below them stand the special bins For cooking stuff and baking tins. |

Generations, all three Each holding a space amongst. It takes all of them To create and to blend, To keep order, reach life's destiny. |

The gray dirt held you tight, The sky begged for your silhouette, You answered... You fought with all your might! |

Leaving tragedy behind, The Englemanns were charred and burned, No longer trees sublime. Today they stand in evidence, But awesome, polished, tall. As nature made them statuesque, Magnificent, one and all. |
